- We saw an increase in listings in Yates, Ontario, Allegany, Genesee, Steuben, Orleans, Monroe and Wyoming counties. While some increases were more significant than others, it’s encouraging news nonetheless.
- The median sales price has increased approximately 10% over this time last year to $152k.
- More properties are coming on the market which will help in meeting demand.
Here’s what the real estate market looks like with homes in Rochester, NY:
In the last 30 days, 701 properties were listed and are still available with a median sales price of 170k. The amount of inventory has increased over last month although the median sale price has increased 20k.
Within the month of July, 231 properties are under contract with a median price of 140k. The average days on the market is 3 as homes are consistently selling quickly.
In July, 671 homes closed with a median sales price of 160k. Sellers are still closing at 100% of list price!
